The genuine Opal measures 18mm x 11.5mm.  The opal is in excellent condition with minimal signs of wear seen only under 10x magnifaction.  No chips, cracks, or crazing.

The ring weighs 8.2g and measures 20.5mm at its widest point. It is stamped for Platinum as well as "7.49" for the carat weight
