This stunning vintage opal ring holds the most elegant shaped long oval opal.  The genuine Opal measures 18mm x 9.5mm.  The opal is in excellent condition with minimal signs of wear seen only under 10x magnifaction.  No chips, cracks, or crazing.  There is a tiny natural imperfection that can be seen on the surface (see pics).  I'm certain this was left by the cutter to maximize the size and shape of this gorgeous specimen.  It is not distracting, just worth mentioning. 

There are .25ctw in baguette diamonds and .10ctw in round diamonds G/VS2-SI1. 

The ring weighs 8.0g. It is stamped for Platinum as well as "5.92" for the opal carat weight carat weight, and it is stamped "25D10" for the diamond carat weight.
