This diamond is absolutely gorgeous!  It has the broad chunky facets we all love in an old cut and the broad flashes of light to go with it. It also has that beautiful round culet in the center. 

This natural Old European Cut Diamond measures 6mm for an approx .80ct I/I1.  The ring has not been taken out of the mounting for weighing, so size is approximate by mm measurement. It does show minor signs of wear the the girdle (very outer edge),  but it can only be seen under 10x magnification.   

The diamond is in its original vintage mounting. The head of the ring measures 6.75 at the widest point and the shank measures 1mm at the back.  The shank can be considered thin to some due to  normal wear for it’s age, so we can half shank the band to make it thicker for an additional charge, but in my opinion, it can be worn for many years to come with normal wear.

The ring weighs 2.8g. It is stamped 14k yellow gold along with the maker's hallmark "Lambert Bros".
