The old diamonds alway tug at my heart, and this one is no exception!  The 6mm x 4mm old rose cut diamond is approximately .25ct but has the spread of closer to a 1/2ct.  H/SI1.  The diamond does have chips in the very edges (the girdle) which are difficult to see with the naked eye.  These are typical in diamonds of this age and in no way take away from the overall beauty of the diamond.  The were observed under 10x magnification. This was considered when pricing. 

 The diamond is mounted in a buttercup head and sits on top of a wide vintage band which is stamped with the maker's hallmark "Scalle" along with 14K.  The band measures 5.25mm wide all the way around, and it has a flat edge which is great for stacking.  It weighs 3.6g

The ring is currently a size 7. It is currently in an eternity design which goes all the way around.  Sizing can be performed, but it will permnently disrupt the pattern at the back of the shank  We are happy to provide sizing for an additional charge.
